BOOK REVIEW: SQUIRRELS IN ANARTICA BY SARI KARPLUS

RATING: πŸ“šπŸ“šπŸ“šπŸ“šπŸ“š

Squirrels in Anartica by Sari Karplus and illustrated by Todd Wilkerson.

Squrriels in Anartica is a fun read. Basically, you take an animal and put them in a place you would never think to find. My daughter and I enjoyed this book a lot. The author even encourages you to think of your own wacky places that you might (or might not) find an animal, the crazier the better.
My daughter and I had a great time thinking of crazy places to place the animals. A panda preaching in a church, a killer whale weightlifting in a gym, or a penguin at a play in Peru. It was a good time.
The illustrations as always are on point and brought the book to life.

Sari Karplus got her storytelling start as a comedian and filmmaker in Los Angeles. But when an improvised bedtime story to her three young children inspired her first kids’ book, she officially joined the ranks of the book writing world. Sari loves to create stories with fun journeys and teachable moments, with a healthy side of humor. Squirrels in Antarctica is Sari’s fourth book. Her first three are in the Robotastic! series. “Sari” rhymes with “Mary.” Sari loves rhyming.
